the people i have seen

I am going through old pictures and notice a kid i haven't talked to in years. She is this pretty little hippie\vegan child whom hardly anyone has paid attention too, because the are all going about their polyamourus lives... i mean they talk to her from time to time, but for the most part she is off reading a book in a corner or hanging with her "boyfriend". weird thing is i remember being one of few who even tried. We ended up being friends and whenever the vegans met i would hang out with her. She was the type of girl who never had to try to be beautiful, it just radiated from her. I told her i would giver her guitar lessons, She gave me my first Converse (in my favorite colors no less) We were friends that would always be, just that friends. Then out of the blue i had to leave my friend and go back to the hell i called Arkansas... Years passed and every once in a while i would get a post on facebook about her. Today was one of those days... She has grown to be one of the most wonderful people. Artsy, in love with a gentleman, has so many friends, and lets face it is still that beautiful person i always remembered. Funny, how you know you have a friend you will never loose, but you hardly get to tell them that.
